Over the course of 5 weeks we'll cover the core of what you need to get your laser up and running. A lot of courses take pride in "80 hours of video content". Not us, we will give you the core of what you need to know so you actually start making products.
Q&A Sessions
As you start to test out what your learning you'll probably hit some road blocks. Each week we dedicate a second live session to covering those Q&A's. Even if you can't make it live you'll be able to send your questions beforehand so that we make sure to cover them.
Why Behind the How
Instead of constantly searching "What's the best setting for x material?" we'll cover the why behind them. You'll leave with a process that will find the perfect setting for anything you want to make that is custom to your machine and environment.
Real Projects
The main focus of the live sessions will be making specific projects. We will go step by step through the process of creating some of the most popular laser engraved and cut products that sell. We'll also customize it to the projects you want to see!

What Laser Can I Use?
The focus of the course is on industrial size machines that support Lightburn that typically have a CO2 or RF tube. These are machines you might find from OMTech, Thunder Laser, Monport, Aeon, etc.

FAQ
What if i don't have access to a laser
While you can still find a great deal of value this course probably won't be the best fit. The #1 goal of Beam to Value is help you create money with your laser, the majority of the modules will feature examples with a physical machine to help you get there.
I'm new to lasers...
Welcome! If you have a product you want to sell that you could use a laser for, then keep reading. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend you buy (unless your generally curious about it before diving fully in).
This course will help you avoid many of the mistakes that myself and my customers wish we could have avoided early on.
What happens after I buy?
After purchase you'll be added to the Beam to Bank online community where you'll find the upcoming schedule of live classes as well as others taking the course.
How long does the course last?
The live sessions will cover 5 weeks but you'll have access to all the recordings on those sessions plus supplemental material and online community for life.
What format is the course?
The live sessions will be hosted through either Google Meet, Zoom or YouTube live depending on the format.
The recordings and pre-recorded lessons are available in the community platform to be accessed at any time.
How long will I have access?
For as long as the internet is still a thing!
When are the live session held?
There are 2 sessions a week starting the week of February 13th, 2024.
I try my best to customize the schedule to when most people can attend. But typically this will be spread out to different times during a normal work day hours.
Live calls typically take place between 9 AM and 5 PM Eastern Time. Recordings are shared within 3 business days of the live call.
What if I can't make a live session?
You'll have nearly instant access to the recordings once we are done! Also you'll still be able to interact and ask questions to be used in a future live session if you can't attend.

What if I've already purchased Learn Lightburn for Lasers.
Since Learn Lightburn for Lasers is included in the purhcase of this course you shouldn't have to pay for it again. Just send me a message and I can discount the purchase price.
What about Fiber Lasers?
This course is focused on CO2 and/or RF tube lasers. The workflow and process for fiber machines deserves dedicated content that this course won't cover.

Can I use at desktop style machine?
Yep! As long as it is a fully enclosed machine that supports Lightburn it will work. The OMTech Polar or Gweike Cloud II are great examples of this.
Can I use a Glowforge?
Glowforge is great (I've got one in my shop) but this course wouldn't be a great fit since we will rely heavily on Lightburn to control the machine.
